1. Get Paid For The Electricity You Generate

From April 2010 the government introduced a system called the Feed-In Tariff scheme (FITs); these are payments made for every unit of electricity produced, your energy provider will pay you up to 21p.

If you don’t use all the electricity you produce, these extra units are sold back into the National Grid and you’ll receive an extra 3.1p per unit.

2. Payments Are Government Guaranteed For 25 Years & Index Linked

The government’s recognition that our attitudes to energy production and its use have to change means that the current and future commitment to solar PV is strong.  Not only are FITs guaranteed for 25 years they are also index-linked to ensure they keep pace with the prevailing inflation rate.

3. Feed-In Tariff Payments Are Not Subject To Tax

All the income you generate from your electricity is tax free to help you make an even speedier return on your investment. (Corporation tax may be payable on large field installations).

4. Potential 9 Year Payback On Capital Invested

A 10kW system purchased from us would cost approximately £31,500 which would produce an income of £3800. The payback period is less than 9 years and for the guaranteed remaining 16 years would yield a profit of £55,760. That is a return of almost 12%.This figure is based on using the energy for your own domestic/business consumption and any excess being sold back to the grid.
